Always See Her in My Dreams #4
36"x36" Acrylic Painting on gallery style canvas with hand formed metal copper elements and final coat of Art Resin to prevent copper from oxidation
The process is something new, which I invented back in 2018 before Toronto Artist Project, simply I do use mixed media acrylic paint with crayons on gallery style canvas or on the wooden panel. Once I am happy, or I think it is ready, then I start incorporating the copper elements into the painting (hand form copper light gage). Once all that is done, then I complete all with final coat or two of Art Resin. What gives me additional finish, protects copper from oxidation, and enhances all the colours which were used on the painting.
That’s all, however there is one more important aspect once the painting hangs on the wall, because natural light in the room changes during the day you will see at different times during the day different reflexions, different views of the art. The same things happens at night time when you use your room lights, one or two lights gives you different feeling you would see, imagine, experience all differently. The copper will shine given additional light.
